Implant Retained Dentures

Replacing Missing Teeth with Implant-Retained Dentures

Losing teeth can affect how you chew, speak, and feel about your smile. Implant-retained dentures provide a secure and stable solution by anchoring your denture to dental implants, improving comfort and function.
They reduce pressure on remaining teeth, help prevent jaw discomfort, and offer a more natural feel compared to traditional dentures—making eating and speaking easier and more confident.

Ball Attachment Denture

This option uses two dental implants in the lower jaw, allowing the denture to securely snap into place. It offers better stability while chewing compared to traditional dentures.
Some slight movement may still occur, and occasional adjustments are needed to maintain comfort and fit.

Bar Attachment Denture

This option uses 4–6 dental implants placed in the jaw. After healing, a custom support bar connects the implants, and your denture securely clips onto it.
This design provides excellent stability with minimal movement, making eating and speaking more comfortable. The denture is still removable, allowing for easy cleaning and maintenance.

Screw Retained Denture

A fixed denture supported by 5+ implants, secured with screws. It stays in place permanently and offers maximum stability, but is removed only by your dentist for maintenance.

What If I’m Missing All of My Upper Teeth?

You still have several treatment options for the upper jaw. Since the bone is softer than the lower jaw, more implants may be needed for proper support.

With the right number of implants, it may be possible to avoid covering the roof of your mouth—giving you a more natural feel, better taste, and improved comfort.

Implant-Retained Upper Denture

This option uses multiple implants to support a secure, removable denture. It feels more natural, improves stability, and makes eating and speaking easier—while still allowing easy cleaning and maintenance.
